Those Expensive Tools? You Can Borrow Them from Edmonton Valve

Rent from Edmonton Valve & Fitting for a fraction of the purchase price

To do a good job, you need good tools. But good tools can be expensive, and you may need a particular tool for only a few days to deal with a specific job. That's why Edmonton Valve & Fitting rents some of the most popular tools our customers need. It's another one of the services we offer in our VIP package.
One of the most popular rental tools is our bench-top tube bender. We rent the manual version (as the electric version is not available in Canada) and it is capable of bending a variety of sizes including 1/2", 5/8”, 3/4”, 7/8”, 1” and 1 1/4". For both 1” and 1 1/4" sizes, steel shoes are provided for bending heavy wall tubing. Simply let us know what sizes you’re looking to bend and we’ll ensure all of the appropriate tooling is included. Rent it for a day, and you'll spend less than 1 percent of the cost of buying it. In fact, it can be even less expensive than buying a union elbow to avoid having to bend the tube in the first place.
Other popular tools include an orbital welder for fusing tubing, hydraulic swaging unit, and a coiled tubing straightener for 1/4" to 1/2" OD tubing sizes. More information on these tools is available upon request.
We rent out all our equipment by the day, week or by the month. It's a handy service for customers of all types -- instrumentation companies, production facilities, even universities setting up lab experiments.

Renting tools can be intimidating. If you don't already own a particular tool, you may not have had a chance to use one regularly. That can make a person a little nervous, especially when it means working with valuable machinery like an orbital welder worth tens of thousands of dollars. We understand that, and we want you to take good care of our tools too. That’s why we make training on the proper use of each tool available to our rental customers.
We have more than one of everything, including at least six bench-top benders. As long as we have stock available, you can rent the equipment the same day you need it. But because some of the tools are so popular, we'd appreciate advance notice of two weeks to a month and we can reserve it for you. If you really need it and we don't have one available, we'll call around and see if we can borrow one from another distributor or from one of our branches.
All you need to get started is a purchase order or a credit card number. Then sign the rental agreement, and you're good to go. If you end up needing the tool longer than you originally expected, that's OK too. You can use it for as much time as the purchase order covers. In fact, we'll make sure to switch you from the daily rate to the weekly rate if it saves you some money.
Renting the proper tools means that you can design and assemble your systems the way you want, not the way you might be limited to by the tools on hand. Just click here, or call us at 780-437-0640 and tell us what you need.
